Prawn Pasta Ingredients
- 400 grams of peeled prawns
- 5 cloves of fresh garlic
- I lug of good olive oil
- 50 grams butter
- 2 cups of good white wine
- 70 ml cream
- 1 red chilli
- Parsley
- Parmesan cheese
- Pasta of choice
Method
Step 1
Heat portion of the olive oil on medium heat and add the chopped garlic and red chilli. Sauté and stir often for 5 minutes. Reduce the heat to low and add white wine and cream and stir. Simmer for about 8 minutes or until the sauce reduces.
Step 2
Have a boiling pot of water that is well salted and cook pasta as per directions on the packet. Take pasta out about 5 minutes before directions suggest and drain. Add in the prawns and cook for approximately 4 minutes.
